Michael P. Desronvil, the lone holdout in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial, says eight jurors favored finding her not criminally responsible from the first day and characterized them as “activists.” The initial 8-2-2 split is separately corroborated by juror Paula Devlin, although the “activists” description and Desronvil’s claim that political bias drove the backlash are his own allegations. The trial ended in an 11-1 deadlock and mistrial.
