South Park’s Season 29 premiere marked a noticeable shift away from the heavily Trump-focused storylines that dominated the previous two seasons, instead centering “South American Biker Gangs” on an escalating conflict over e-bikes. Donald Trump remains part of the satire through the show’s Trump-inspired “South America” rename and a brief appearance in the revamped opening sequence, but the episode itself largely leaves the White House behind. TheWrap described the premiere as laying off direct Trump attacks, while Deadline similarly noted the episode’s broader focus on local absurdity, corporate compliance and cultural satire.
