More than four hundred thousand Amish live in North America with no power line, no gas station in the plan, and no store they can't do without. That isn't a museum. It's a working system, and it runs on things you can copy — some of them with what's already in your garage and your driveway. This video takes seven of those techniques, one at a time, and puts each one next to the exact day of a long outage when you'd need it: day four, day five, day nine, day fifteen, day forty, month four, and the question that decides all of it.
