Agree on respect, but I have an issue with the wording. "Worthy of respect" is just not it. It needs too much unpacking. You force respect on the world by making it need you. You recognize when someone needs something from you, and you deny it to them until they show you the level of respect you demand from them. And you repeat this as necessary until they are consistently respectful.
This principle is called leverage. There is no worthiness of respect, there is only the necessary leverage to extract respect.
Wow. That was motivational and true?!
