Your thoughts are very interesting on this topic. I havent watched the full video yet. There are interesting points, you say porn addiction is unhealthy, and you are expaining it from the perspective of biology. This have never crossed my mind before. So you have indeed tought something to me. You are right that our generation havent received any education about it, because porn was was basically non-existing in the way like it exists now (when you can instantly just find a suitable video or picture).

But let me also teach you something about this. In the end of 90s and early 2000, when porn started to exist in the current way it exists now, the attitude to porn was very different from what you imagine.

For example then we usually only had one computer, and it was usually indeed in the living room! And back initially then people were not even secretive about it. Internet bandwidth was very limited, so the youth brought the porn to each other on cd discs. When we organized them and brought them around, of course we checked what it is, and during that time we were checking it, even the parents, siblings, grown ups could have see what the kids are doing on the computer (as moving data around took hours, frequently beginning with doing small repairs on the computer to even be able to start it up, as they were very unreliable). And others indeed peeked with they eyes into the videos, sometimes even commented them. Imagine your mom commenting on a porn video you are watching with your classmate. And then you sending your mother away not to disturb you while you organizing the shares. This was the reality back then. People openly watched porn in libraries, students even watched them in schools on school computers and copied them around. It was not secretive, people openly exchanged porn just like computer games and other movies. It was not a big deal. And then, slowly it started to be shameful in the eyes of society. Guilt and shame, started to be attached to porn, or to sexuality as a whole. Which i think, its just unhealthy than someone who has uncontrolled porn addiction. I am not sure what to think about this topic, because i have never researched it, or thought about it until now. So thankyou for sharing your aspect about this.

Btw you are wrong hovewer about young people and "sex knowledge", because young people having less sex than any generations before, according to statistics like half the population below 40 are virgins or something like that, dont quote me on that one, i dont know the precise numbers.Maybe its different in your circles, but the truth is, the sexual activity collapsed among young people.
