South Korea sends ship on 'test' voyage to Europe through Northern Sea Route

In the frigid waters off Russia's Arctic coastline, a South Korean container ship is looking to take advantage of the so-called Northern Sea Route.

Saving time and money, this first-ever voyage through the route by a South Korean vessel comes as shipping lanes in the Middle East have grown increasingly dangerous in recent months.
