Remembering the fallen | China marks Martyrs’ Day with сeremony led by Xi Jinping

Chinese President Xi Jinping led a ceremony honoring the country’s fallen heroes on Martyrs’ Day in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square, commemorating ’those who gave their lives in the quest for modern national independence, prosperity, and the well-being of the people.’ Along with the president, other state leaders, veterans, and family members of fallen soldiers took part in the ceremony.
