"It's Time to Listen": MP Dean Allison Launches the Allison Inquiry on Parliament Hill

On June 4th, MP Dean Allison stood with lawyer Shawn Buckley and volunteer Teresa Buckley on Parliament Hill to announce the Allison Inquiry, a non-partisan opportunity for Canadians who were injured by the COVID-19 vaccine, or who lost someone, to finally share their stories and be heard.

The numbers are stark. Over 58,000 adverse events reported, more than 11,000 classified as serious, and over 3,500 claims filed through the Federal Vaccine Injury Support Program. Yet only 250 people have been compensated. More than 30 democratic nations have launched COVID inquiries. Canada has not.

This isn't about blame or findings. The inquiry's terms of reference explicitly prohibit drawing conclusions. It's simply an invitation for MPs and senators from every party to sit down and listen, in a formal Parliament Hill setting, to ordinary Canadians who've been carrying these stories in silence.

The hearings will take place September 8th through 11th in a committee room on Parliament Hill, broadcast live to the nation.

If you or someone you know has been injured following a COVID-19 vaccine, you're invited to apply to testify.

The Allison Inquiry is organized by the Covid Testimony Association, a volunteer-run, non-partisan, not-for-profit. No political party funding is accepted.
