Inconvenient history? | Germany removes memorial to victims of WW2 Allied forces

A memorial inscription to civilians killed in the devastating Allied bombing of the city of Dresden during World War II was removed by authorities. British and American forces are believed to have dropped more than 3,000 tons of bombs and incendiary explosives on the city at the end of the war in 1945.
