What's the future for socialism in the world today?

Russia says a society based on social justice is something to strive for, and its parliament has unveiled a new international framework to help pursue that.

State Duma Deputy Chairman Alexander Babakov says the initiative's goal is to unite socialist forces and movements worldwide. Amid what's been called a crisis in global capitalism, it has solid support too. That's backed up by the turnout at the first so-called 'Sovintern' event in Moscow, which brought together more than 100 political parties and public organizations from around the globe.

We spoke with a member of Morocco's Party of Progress and Socialism, Said Bakkali, who praised a socialistic platform and its ability to help those suffering under capitalism.
