Dishonored 2 - Chapter 2

using a gamepad, i can't play any of my PC games with keyboard and mouse, i can barely play with controller these days, my fingers have some injury issues and i'm getting older so playing is a lot less refined as it used to be, i like this game but it's tough on my fingers, i prefer to play slowly but the stealth in this game isn't very well made in my opinion, the only stealth games where i actually liked the stealth were splinter cell and Thief, but i like the dishonored story and the unique ways to play, the story isn't that bad either.

it also doesn't help this game is crazy jank and awkward to play, on controller they don't allow you to set the buttons yourself, they offer this feature to the keyboard settings so i get inferior button arrangement schemes because the game won't allow me to set them how i like, now i do have another controller app that allows me to use keyboard bindings but it's a whole process that is a pain in the ass to set up, it can be done but it's just annoying to set up, because you have to turn off steam's controller support deep in the settings then some other settings, to trick the game into thinking your not using a controller, it's just a very time consuming process, i use that app to mostly add onto the existing controlls of the game, so if i wanted to add in a quick save feature i could do that with the existing buttons, like the lean button is Y on the controller, i can set hitting Y as a secondary binding to save game and another button to load, but pressing these buttons still uses the built in buttons pre programmed into the game for controller, i set it up to start recording using keybindings for OBS but you can't tell if OBS is recording unless you leave the game to make sure it's actually doing it, i thought i made it so it would show some indication but that doesn't seem to be the case.

i'm not sure i understand the fishbowl comment, as i set the FOV all the way to the top, i can't stand the FOV being set at 85 or less, i set it to 110 because of that annoying view in this game, 1st person games are often way too handicaped with that shitty view being set at something like 40 or 50 i hate it, like the first time i played BioShock infinite, the game is beautiful but they set the fucking FOV to i swear 40 and you can only adjust it to 80 i think, that caused motion sickness for me, they should have made the FOV slider go much higher than that.
