Aid agencies face huge funding gap as all money goes to Ukraine – UN

‘The war in Ukraine has illustrated, very starkly, how it is possible to rapidly and extensively mobilize support for refugees and respond to humanitarian needs – when political commitment is there’, the UN stated. But what if there is no political commitment? Over the next few months, there will be large numbers of people who are helpless and in desperate need of humanitarian need but will simply not receive it.
