Most of German, Swedish economy (as with Switzerland and Denmark) is not owned as public traded shares, these are generational owned,..., like Ford, Disney and WestingHouse used to be in the USA.
You cannot short as a retail investor, only if you are licensed trader (not hard to get licensed) , but just to show that is not an equal playing field and average Joe cannot do the same to Hollywood movie companies if they tend to fuck up making woke movies (Disney dropped 73% in stockprice, you would almost think the jews are making crappy movies to tank the stockprice)
