Professor Ali Al-Hail even says ‘We have doubts about the bombing of ARAMCO.’ He thinks Israel could carry out sabotage to create a casus belli against Iran. Former Pakistani minister Mushahid Hussain Syed agrees that this would be out of the usual Israeli playbook. He says ‘Israeli occupied territory is not the West Bank and Gaza alone. The Dutch House of Representatives has approved a proposal to reform the country’s Box 3 tax system by introducing a 36 percent tax on the actual return of investment assets, including stocks, bonds and crypto, beginning January 1, 2028. The reform would tax annual increases in asset value, including unrealized gains, replacing the previous system that relied on assumed returns and was ruled unconstitutional by the Dutch Supreme Court. The legislation still requires approval from the Senate before becoming law.
