@Dutch Cobbler: Me too... I followed RGE's example, er not live stream tubing, but buying Steam gsmes on sale... and there's litterally a sale every month... My Backlog expandeth like their woke asses... They will never meet... LoL!

@Dutch Cobbler: Everything except GoG being DRM. It is DRM. You need an account to download it and they have something called GoG Galaxy which needs to be open for certain games to launch. I choose emulators and completely DRM-free PC games where I don't even need an account. I refuse to pay for anything unless it's a disc version, a box, and manuals such as Balder's Gate 1 game manual. BG1 game manual is basically a mid-sized book with lore and art. The game disc requires zero internet to install and launch. That's where I draw my line. Product ownership of a real life physical product. A digital game can be replicated endlessly with little to no overhead costs therefore they should be $1 at most. Meanwhile streamers and other sponsored people get all these products for free to shill them. I also want to be assured that my game version will not change versions without my consent breaking any mods. Not sure if GoG forces updates like Steam does but that's quite a hassle to deal with. The best days was when I young and and going into a store to buy a product that works off the shelf. Digital game production encourages things like Early Access which is a scam.

@Toki: I can agree with a lot of what you said, but GOG accounts are for payment. Once you buy its yours, meaning you can download an installer, just like if you pirated, and the account is not necessary at all. you don't need a GOG account to install anywhere, unlock anything, I've installed backups (installers) on different PCs with no account or even internet access. You buy your copy, and you can save it and use it any way you want. It's better than physical because physical nearly always has a key or some DRM bullshit built in, but on GOG, you buy, burn it, back it up, whatever; it's all yours. 100% with you otherwise, especially when it comes to review copies vs retail. I also hate bullshots, which is why i don't bother with "Game awards" or expos anymore. Yes, also MAKE MANUALS GREAT AGAIN!
