Windows 10 is still supported.

Windows 10 has officially been declared deprecated or unsupported by Microsoft on 14th October 2025, with most users of it simply accepting it as fact, and either getting new devices, moving to Linux, or choosing not to update at all, but in reality, while they might not know, Windows 10 is actually still supported. It is supported because ESU programs exist for the 2022 update version of Windows 10, and because LTSC versions exist for Windows 10. This video explains everything about Windows 10 support and which Windows 10 versions can still be used with guaranteed support and security updates.

I am too retarded to figure out what ESU and LTSC means...

Needs the full words and then the abbreviations.

@Igor MGTOW And Video Games: Yeah I was making reference to the notes, and the necessity to do clear explainations of terms that many other people might have no experience of or cannot remember / recall. Also as a Linux user, I am doing my level best to remember NOTHING about this company and it's never ending bullshit.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: I try to explain things well so that the average person who has never heard of what i am talking about understands what i am saying. I also include sources for that exact reason. On the linux thing, you are not the first one who wants nothing to do with Microsoft or Windows, my friend is the same, he shares almost the same exact position.

@Igor MGTOW And Video Games: It's an issue of grammatics and historical record keeping. When using abbreviations, it's necessary to qualify them with the full words - especially if only using them a few times. In long texts, in the interests of saving space and simplififying lots of text, do it like this, Long Term Servicing Channel ( LSTC ), and Extended Security Updates ( ESU ). Then if you need to reuse the terms multiple times in long texts, simply use the abbreviation.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: aha, that was my issue, i tended to do the reverse of it, as in use the short term first, then put the longer term in parentheses and the like to explain them, but your way could work better.

Also in a long term archival sense, many meanings, phrases, terms and words of the current era, soon lose their meaning, or reference points, or connection from the real to the abstraction. In 1500 or somthing, people communicated graphically - and they did tapestries and what knot, they also produced grafitti and multimple meanings in their legitimate works... There was as I recall - a French tapestry that had hares (big rabbits) dancing around the feet of the English king. Spring Hares or March Hares, or whatever, were because of thier running around and doing back flips etc., were considered to be "Mad" or Mad as a March Hare...... so by including those images of the hares dancing around the kings feet, the people of that time, understood that the king was an idiot. But today when people look at that ancient tapestry - they usually don't know the difference between Hares and Rabbits, and that using Dancing Hares, around the Kings feet, was their way for the French to call the English King, a mentally defective and stupid cunt. So without a historian who rembered and understood the context of that part of the tapestry, to the average person it's an image of the king and some dancing rabbits....

This is why works also need to be done, so they can be read and understood, long into the future. Watch this video or all three of them,.......

@Igor MGTOW And Video Games: It's the common method in academic and fairly precise documents and analytical issues... Once everyone knows what LSTC means, by writing the full words first and then the abbreviation in brackets afterwards, then you don't have to repeat the full four words 25 - 500 times, when the abbreviation - which is understood, will suffice. Long Term Servicing Channel ( LSTC )

@Igor MGTOW And Video Games: And I was absolutely sure I did post the documentary that contained the tappestery bit in it.... Can't find it and have never been able to refind it anywhere, either.
