Wildfires ravage 1,200 hectares in Barcelona province, forcing evacuations

The wave of wildfires sweeping through Europe has hit Spain's Barcelona province where 1,200 hectares are ablaze, prompting some 200 to evacuate. To date, forest fires remain active in a number of the country's regions, including Extremadura, Castilla y Leon, Galicia, Andalusia and Madrid.
