⁣▶ WHY MEN GO TO THAILAND.. - [ PART 1 ] - "HILARIOUS"

I anticipate catching "Hell" for this comment, but after weighing between not making a comment, against making a comment, then what the "Hell"... why not, since I speak from personal experience!

At the time of me typing this, it is now April 6th, 2026, and I have been living in Thailand since 2002, and so therefore trust that the reader of this, my view, might consider it possibly plausible to hear me out, as follows:

Regarding this lamenting woman: Using one woman behave this way is highly suspect, and even if this woman behaving this way is legitimate, still... using one woman as an example of why men go to Thailand is a band-wagon-logical fallacy argument, and this offends me, because the excerpts of those guys having fun at those venues can be for a myriad of reasons other than what this title suggests!

And I "get it"... and am not denigrating the maker of this video... and possibly this video is simply meant to be a parody and just a video for guys to let off a bit of steam and gloat for a bit and have a good laugh, and I can live with this... but I've also been living in Thailand for the last 23+ years... and after all the fun wears off... reality sets in!

The guys in this video are sex-tourists and not expats, I am certain... and this is not a bad thing, and simply a demographic that doesn't focus on expats!

This video could also be remade, showing this women lamenting, and then shifting the scene to a bunch of geezer expats/pensioners sitting with their mates in a calm manner, with beautiful Thai ladies around attending to their needs and appreciating these Farangs for how these Farangs know them by their names, and ask how their families are doing, and sucking down suds and talking boring subjects that geezer expats do!

Watching those guys having fun brought back the memories of my first 8 or 9 years here... but having prime rib every day for pennies on the dollar sort of gets old after a bit... and I mean for expats like me, and not the guys who come on tourist visas and then go back home, to save up enough for the next holiday from work and come back, to let off some more steam!

I really don't know what I am saying, other than I completely "get" the "gist" of this video... without the lady lamenting, which is ridiculous, and inserting her into something that happens naturally seems a bit off and disingenuous at best.

Moreover... the guys having fun in this video... unless they are trapped into a relationship with a lady like this back home... I sense that they already are wise about ladies like this... because once a man has steak with the gravy, he doesn't even glance at only steak... if the subject is only about titties and hot cunt and all sorts of hedonism... for a tourist, and not an expat! An expat, who behaves like a tourist, won't last 18 months here, is what I am suggesting!

Scrolling down this thread, one will find a comment made 5 years ago by a "mrghoster", where he implies to never bring (transplant) one of these Thai ladies back home, in which he is correct about the Thai lady "changing"... but even his view is skewed, because most do not comprehend the culture, and this is not a condemnation, and simply an objective assertion for the unaware.

So yes... this video is, for my part, a parody of truth, and the added touch of the lamenting Karen is a nice one... but to suggest that this is the exclusive reason why men come to Thailand is a bit over the top!

The reader of this will make of what I assert what the reader will, but be reminded that I "get" the guys in those excerpts and had a laugh at watching them, because I was once one of them too, and there were good times and bad times... but now I am here, looking back at me, after watching this, and can say that those guys in this well-intentioned video are guys whom I sense are pretty decent guys letting off steam... sex-tourists (let's be honest here), and have to go home... but if one wants to come and stay... I can assure anyone that what this video portrays about Thailand is less than 1% of 1% of the real Thailand.

At the risk of offending even further, YES! I down-voted this well-intentioned video... not to denigrate or come off as accusing, or being better than others... and simply because this video makes fun of Thailand by simply using (USING) Thailand as a resource for sex-tourist guys (whom I completely comprehend why they come here on tourist visas)... as if the Thailand I KNOW... the TRUE THAILAND... is not worth mentioning, and that offends me, and anyone disagreeing with me, at least tell me why, and do not assume, because I am not accusing your sexual urges and desire to come here on a tourist visa, and to go home, and think about "Walking Street" as representing Thailand, no more than I am willing to think that this clever Lamenting Woman represents Australia, or any other white society, for that matter!

It's simply that Thailand bar-beer ladies see your hardening cock as an ATM, and not as sullied, bitter and resentful white women, who see your hardening cock as a monthly retirement stipend!

Thank you so much for the upload... and please do a similar video on expats in Thailand, with this woman lamenting, and shifting the scene to a bunch of old geezers sitting together and experiencing a 100% hassle-free environment with Thai ladies... who react according to the personality that puts a coin in their slot!
