Why Hadith, if the Quran is the word of God?

If the Bible is considered the word of God, and then the Quran is considered the word of God, both should be self sufficient says our questioner. But the Quran has the Hadith which explain it, so does that not mean that it's not sufficient? Let's tackle this question insh Alalh.
