It's still worth it.. I understand the feeling you have that it was much better back then.. Going there now would destroy these souvenirs you got.. But man life goes on.. Things change.. But some places don't and maybe going to places who didnt really changed might be the target for you.. You know my saying : "Life is short, so enjoy life while you still can !"

I will never forget the time I had, like taking my motobike up the mountain in Chaing Mai just in shorts and beers in the front basket at 12 midnight and sitting up there looking over the city drinking my beer as it was nice and cool up there. To go back all I have to is remember
