WHERE WAS JOHN? Marine Corps graduation - Parris Island - June 9, 2023

I went to Parris Island for a family member who graduated and has earned the title US Marine. He is now one of the Few, the Proud, a Marine.

I met with Marines and talked about the Esprit de Corps, their missions, recruiting, training, and many other topics. It was amazing to be around active duty Marines again, to be acknowleged by the base General, to share laughs and conversation with them. There was a level of respect they showed me that was unexpected, and appreciated. The drill instructors I spoke with knew I was a Marine by my manners, and one even recognized 😉 who I was...
