... Female nature is a lot of things.
They think they can have their cake but want to eat it too. They definitely want to be with the strong (successful) men, "during hard times" is just romanticism, as is a woman who "loves her husband" at least in today's society, men are not human beings they are human doings, they are the breadwinner, the income, the authority and prestige. To women, men are not "people" with individual thought, intelligence, or even feelings that should be considered they are tools that magically produce things that women want/need.
Selling the idea of "you can still go clubbing" to some dried up old woman works because women seem all but unable (or just entirely unwilling) to see reality and consequences; what matters is how they feel in that moment, the basis of their reality is how they feel in that moment and women change from moment to moment and neither see nor feel any in-congruence because now is not then and who they are right now (this second) is not who they were (5 minutes ago).
What I once thought was pernicious duplicity with delusional self-deceit was in fact, only female nature. Clearly those 30 something housewives that are sold the idea that they should be clubbing haven't faced pain or misery strong enough for them to realize that what they have already is so amazing they shouldn't have the shame to think about asking for more....
