What is fiber reinforced concrete?

Fiber reinforced concrete (aka fibre reinforced concrete) is an essential method of reinforcing for complicated and thin members. However, fiber reinforced concrete can also be very helpful to maintain small cracks. These small cracks help with both the aesthetics and the durability of the concrete. The video explains the use of both macro and micro fibers. It explains the differences between these two materials and also shows their performance in concrete. Examples of plastic fibers, glass fibers, steel fibers, and polypropylene fibers are also shown in reinforced concrete.
