I'd head to downtown LA. I'm sick of being around all of these animals. Show me a way out and I'm taking it.

In freemasonry they teach you that common morals and much of the written laws are for the masses, not for the initiated brotherhood. Breaking with morals and laws are also part of the initiation process itself. The act of writing laws for the benefit of your brotherhood is how they consolidate power. That is basically the only reason why politicians are so 'revered' and plentiful in freemasonry recruiting. All of this systematic cynicism is strongly amplified the higher you move up the chain of command. But in the overall scheme of the lodge; In the rank and file of freemasonry, most of the politicians are kept (ignorant) in the mid echelons, while the power brokers and financial interests rise to the top. In other words, the ones at the top are allowed and encouraged to use their rank to fulfill their agenda, even against other low level masons like politicians without them actually knowing it, but still serving the brotherly cause. The average politicians who have been initiated have no meaningful recourse within the masonic hierarchy and that is also why they tend to stay corrupt, plus they are blackmailed.
