West reluctant to engage in direct conflict with Russia

Despite the massive diplomatic, financial and military support Ukraine is receiving, its key Western allies appear reluctant to heed President Zelensky and get involved in a direct conflict with Russia. Earlier, Ukraine’s president called on his Western backers to launch an attack on Russia, in the event of Moscow targeting his base in Kiev with with nuclear arms.
