It is clear that Israel is calling the shots for a war with Iran.

We have two conflicting stories from the Washington Post and the New York Times but what they both tell us is that Netanyahu is the decider here, not President Trump.

Now before we get excited, it is worth remembering that the last time Trump and Netanyahu promised not to bomb Iran, they went ahead and did it, as if their assurances acted as a successful subterfuge. So we can't pretend they're not bluffing this time, that would be a fool-me-twice mistake on our part.
