Water cannons, sticks & stones: Violent clashes erupt in Chile

Clashes erupted in Santiago between riot police and demonstrators during the 'Day of the Young Combatant' rally, which commemorates the 1985 murder of two militants by agents of the Pinochet dictatorship. Riot police used water cannons to disperse the demonstrators, who responded by throwing sticks and stones. Over 30 people have reportedly been arrested.
