wow, i could see that helping FO4 as that game has a memory leak issue where if the games RAM reaches a specific threshold, the game crashes because it can't handle that much RAM at once, this is why i liked when steam brought up all those monitoring tools that can be viewed on the top of the screen, as i personally used them to watch the RAM so i could know when my game was about to crash due to that issue.
however i never use 4k textures, instead i had to find a mod that reduced the games textures, so it would be forced to use less RAM, which meant i could play longer before that issue became a problem.
however i hope this tweak can fix that issue, it makes sense for them to include this feature in the steam machine or steam deck instead of making it something anyone can use, he is running a business and all that, gotta make people view the steam console as a better alternative to dying xbox, but it will ultimately have to come down to the price, because if the price isn't right, this may not work out as well as he thinks.
