I'm looking forward to buying the Gabe Cube out next year... Steam deck is awesome. I had not trying using it as a computer yet, but the Gabe Cube is supposed to be like what eight? Ten times faster and more powerful than the Steam deck.
another thing Valve is doing is making the Vram issues less difficult on the consumer, right now there is an issue with openAI making Vram crazy expensive due to them focusing on automation and robotics to boost our economy, thing is in the short term this means Vram is going to skyrocket in price and make that hardware very expensive, but on the software side of things Valve is going to make this crisis of expensive Vram not much of an issue due to how they are setting up steam to rework how Vram is used in every game, this is actually something i wish they focused on years ago, but it's still cool they are focusing on it now, it's kind of like the tech that assists with game stability and fps gains through FSR or DLSS tech that helps unlock potential fps gains.
i use a little program called "lossless scaling" that pretty much makes your game feel and run smooth, i use it in my gaming of FO4 all the time, now that game does have it's issues that can be fixed via mods, but the LS app has helped make my games feel much smother, they show your fps but it's not your true fps showing, it's what it feels like when playing, true fps you might be getting 50 or 60fps in any given location in the game, but the scalier makes it feel like 90 to 100fps while gaming, it's some voodo magic but it works really well from what i have seen and felt while gaming.
funny thing is Valve is using both technologies when it comes to their mobile market, and i'm sure it is also working on the Linux side of things if the user is using that OS, this stuff i find fascinating and exciting for the future, because for a while now shit has gotten expensive as hell, to the point where it's not even worth upgrading as it's too expensive, what Valve is doing is making that headache a lot less painful using their OS instead of whatever Microsoft shits out.
for myself i'm not going to be making the move to windows any time soon, that OS has proved time and again that they want to only make money and not improve their shit, they want to force their users to not only pay for their OS but also want to force users off of their older versions and accept the spyware and the adware they pump into their OS these days, this "Promise" is more than likely hollow and they will persist with shady shit in the background like putting their AI in the OS and claiming you don't own what's on your PC, plus they have tones of programs on the PC almost nobody uses and you have to sign in with your MS account just to use these apps and then there is the bloat ware issues.
Microsoft is a shit company that is only making this move because they now understand they are not to big to fail seeing what Valve has done to the Linux space, it seems like they actually have competition for once and they now have to compete.
@Shin: Fuck so Linux is the way to go is it, I have a Laptop with Win10 with lots of data and Waifu pics and forgot the password and now its almost useless unless i find a way to hack it and delete old password, yet if you say Linux is the way to go then I figure your saying forget the data wipe it clean and start from scratch using Linux OS, Problem is I would do that if that Password I forgot wasnt the Admin Password thst doesnt even allow me to wipe Win10 Password completely so I still have my data and can install Linux otherwise Im shite outta luck, do you know of anything that can work or is my best bet is to go get a PAJEET TECH NERD to hard wipe it to Zero and start over with Linux Valve OS Build? Any help is grateful.

@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: Not the best at remote support but I would buy a new SSD, have someone create a Linux install USB, install Linux to the new SSD, find a way to connect the old hard drive to the PC, copy the waifu pics to the Linux SSD, and then you should be good to go. I would try to find your nearest tech nerd for that, as I am not great at explaining things unless I am in person, but I will try my best. Do NOT wipe the HDD though! Those waifu pics are recoverable!
@Shin: Thanks bro thats exactly what I thought, problem is the password I dont remember it at all and I put it on Admin password as well so I cant Hard wipe it even if I wanted to, even if I go through command prompt which I looked up and found online, I have a Local Pajeet and he said the exact same thing you did only he will charge me by per GB of my data around 12 to 20 GB and he said for that the total would be around $200 to $275 and Im like FFUUUUCCCKKK. I would love to keep my documents and Waifu Pics indeed and if it doesnt install Linux Bypass so I keep the data and wipe windows10 then I would be happy and pajeet said the hard wipe is the cheaper option I can always find the Waifus again not my docs I lose those Im fucked cant get them back, fucking passwords with numbers fucking annoying I need to find sum Annoymous hackers and get them to do it for me unless they arr uber pedo leftists then im fucked thanks for your help bro appreciate it.
@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: Try this: I have actually encountered this situation once before. At that time, I helped my family repair their old computer, but I found that I couldn’t remember the administrator password and couldn’t log in. Later, I used the method of "safe mode + command line" to successfully reset local admin password on Windows 10/11. The process was simpler than I thought. I did it like this: I held down Shift and clicked "Restart" to enter the advanced startup menu; Then I selected "Troubleshooting" > "Advanced Options" > "Startup Settings" and clicked "Restart"; After the system restarted, I selected 4 to enter safe mode; After entering, I directly opened the command prompt and entered: net user admin 123456 5. Write it down. 6. Restart and clear this new, temporary password!
@Shin: Thanks that was a big help yet no luck It doesnt even bring up command prompt it reverts back to Admin(DIO) which is the pasword I cant rememebe, thanks for your help I remember doing this and another way under system restore, I am Fucked, I cant even get command prompt to overide so I can type that in, it gets overrided by Admin and says to type in the Admin Password which normally would be the correct and great thing, under the shituation I am in right now I am Fucked, thanks for your help though bro I appreciate it. :)
@Shin: This is stupid to say yet I bet if I had as RGE says CHEESE PIZZA KIDDIE CORN and told them I need it cracked they will call the murder squad and they will have it jailbreaked quicker than a surgeon could perform a lightning fast OP, yet they throw me in the slammer unless I tell em I am a Bangladeshi PakiChad then they will leave me alone and get my laptop working for free haha or so I believe I doubt it though it was just a Stupid Thought, A Man goes crazy when he cant access his Waifu Vault you have no idea haha.
@Shin: Same not sure of othee methods either, appreciate if you do find a way to jailbreak the admin password DM me and let me know and which best version of Linux OS to install on it, as I will be a madman getting all the data off it first then wipe it clean and then install Value Version of Linux OS, now I dont agree or trust Valve Either because they still use and operate Windows OS i get that because most people still use that or MAC OS so I get why they still Run WIN OS still that means Pedogates still has sum form of getting his hooks into LINUX VALVE OS because they are still using his microshaft WIN OS in sum shape or form to help "Sheeple" and can use that in sum legal way to Fuck over Valve. Long story short they all sell out your data RGE even proved the ones that you pay off do the same so they all do it and its a shiteshow yet you gotta use sumthing if you need to send emails or do video calls with the "Team" or "RESEARCH"
@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: I would have someone try to make a bootable USB drive with password reset software on it, then booting from it to get in and remove all account passwords. Then, copy the waifu files and the docs to a USB drive, install a fresh SSD, install Linux on said SSD, copy the files to the new Linux install, and TADA!
@Shin: Thanks, I thought as much, my local pajeet nerd told me as much, just means i got waste $250 to get it functioning and operational again, fuuuuck, thanks though I might as well get pajeet to install valve Linux os as well rather than fuck it up myself, well we will see, Thanks for your help bro sucks that I gotta pay pajeet
@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: Yeah, sorry about that. But last time I installed Linux it was pretty easy. It shouldn't be that hard for someone with little computer knowledge to install. Getting used to the user interface might take a while, though.
@Shin: Thanks bro I will try it later tomorrow, its Early morning over here at tge shitehole im at and cant sleep cos insomnia kicked in coz i dont have magnesium pills to help sleep, thanks i will give it a try and let you know if it works and if it does work you can use it to helps others who might have the same problem. Thanks
@Shin: I think XP was better than Win 7. 10 was barable only because they gave us Note. Then, their updates fucked my ability to record videos using the microphone system reco d d, OneNote, and Xbox Gamer as a screen recorder, all already loaded on Win10. I could have bought a screen saver program; I think.I had two Nero ehich sends to a website data center what you record and edir [spy much?] And Roxio when it did not crash. I found two or three programs in Linux that should work.
MicroShaft is more concerned with supply governments and those US co tracted Defense AI programs your data from its spying AI Copilot, more like CoConspirator, to spy and record and deliver to NSA and Defense AI databases. Complete Bill of Rights illegal search and surveillance "software."
@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: Bro, put Linux on a stick, ie jumpdrive and run "Test system" to see if that distro works on your system and plug in another jumpdrive or external hardrive and download all your waifus. Rufus.com will help you make it. You can search Popular Mechanics for a specific article instructing and illustrating how to make a Linux jumpdrive. I made two.
@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: Linux Valve OS? That's just SteamOS. Mint would work too. Linuxmint.com SwitchedToLinux has installation and distro testing videos.
@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: Or you can replace the harddrive especially if SATA . Install the nrw hardrive and install Linux. Put the old Harddrive into a external harddrive case appropriately sized and change it from madter to slsve, pins on the side. Access the waifus and documents through the Linux upgraded system. It might take a couple of hours, but you csn do it for free plus cost of jumpdrive, new hardrive, and external case. Checkout Buy.com or NewEgg.com for sales.

@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: Hmmm. You can create a simulation whi c h runs Windows on your Linux computer to run Windows programs. Once again, SwitchedToLinux has videos deomnstrating that .
@Shin: Bro, got you covered. Go to Rufus.com to make a bootable Linux. Though, it describes using Ubuntu. I just swapped out Ubuntu for Fedora replacing the downloaded OS. I said Mint and Majero as well as OSes because they're easier for Windows users. Titus Tech and even Pewdeepie both did videos installing Linux. Pewdeepie was like excited for the first time in years fucking around with Linux! And again Valve's OS is SteamOS.
@WMHarrison94: Thanks for the help bro, I couldnt remember the channel on here that talked about that, SwitchedtoLinux got it thanks, I will give it a shot and RUFUS the dufus.com :p for the Waifus, I remember the Ubuntu build and you say you swapped it out for Fedora (as in what the hipstertards were all edging over) why fedora over Ucuntu hah, you watch pewdeepie ewwww and you saw him get moist again after years of being in menopause ewww im glad I dont watch that turd, did he squirt his juices for ya when he was microshaft deep in Linux jk haha.
