another thing Valve is doing is making the Vram issues less difficult on the consumer, right now there is an issue with openAI making Vram crazy expensive due to them focusing on automation and robotics to boost our economy, thing is in the short term this means Vram is going to skyrocket in price and make that hardware very expensive, but on the software side of things Valve is going to make this crisis of expensive Vram not much of an issue due to how they are setting up steam to rework how Vram is used in every game, this is actually something i wish they focused on years ago, but it's still cool they are focusing on it now, it's kind of like the tech that assists with game stability and fps gains through FSR or DLSS tech that helps unlock potential fps gains.
i use a little program called "lossless scaling" that pretty much makes your game feel and run smooth, i use it in my gaming of FO4 all the time, now that game does have it's issues that can be fixed via mods, but the LS app has helped make my games feel much smother, they show your fps but it's not your true fps showing, it's what it feels like when playing, true fps you might be getting 50 or 60fps in any given location in the game, but the scalier makes it feel like 90 to 100fps while gaming, it's some voodo magic but it works really well from what i have seen and felt while gaming.
funny thing is Valve is using both technologies when it comes to their mobile market, and i'm sure it is also working on the Linux side of things if the user is using that OS, this stuff i find fascinating and exciting for the future, because for a while now shit has gotten expensive as hell, to the point where it's not even worth upgrading as it's too expensive, what Valve is doing is making that headache a lot less painful using their OS instead of whatever Microsoft shits out.
for myself i'm not going to be making the move to windows any time soon, that OS has proved time and again that they want to only make money and not improve their shit, they want to force their users to not only pay for their OS but also want to force users off of their older versions and accept the spyware and the adware they pump into their OS these days, this "Promise" is more than likely hollow and they will persist with shady shit in the background like putting their AI in the OS and claiming you don't own what's on your PC, plus they have tones of programs on the PC almost nobody uses and you have to sign in with your MS account just to use these apps and then there is the bloat ware issues.
Microsoft is a shit company that is only making this move because they now understand they are not to big to fail seeing what Valve has done to the Linux space, it seems like they actually have competition for once and they now have to compete.
@Shin: Fuck so Linux is the way to go is it, I have a Laptop with Win10 with lots of data and Waifu pics and forgot the password and now its almost useless unless i find a way to hack it and delete old password, yet if you say Linux is the way to go then I figure your saying forget the data wipe it clean and start from scratch using Linux OS, Problem is I would do that if that Password I forgot wasnt the Admin Password thst doesnt even allow me to wipe Win10 Password completely so I still have my data and can install Linux otherwise Im shite outta luck, do you know of anything that can work or is my best bet is to go get a PAJEET TECH NERD to hard wipe it to Zero and start over with Linux Valve OS Build? Any help is grateful.

@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: Not the best at remote support but I would buy a new SSD, have someone create a Linux install USB, install Linux to the new SSD, find a way to connect the old hard drive to the PC, copy the waifu pics to the Linux SSD, and then you should be good to go. I would try to find your nearest tech nerd for that, as I am not great at explaining things unless I am in person, but I will try my best. Do NOT wipe the HDD though! Those waifu pics are recoverable!
@Shin: Thanks bro thats exactly what I thought, problem is the password I dont remember it at all and I put it on Admin password as well so I cant Hard wipe it even if I wanted to, even if I go through command prompt which I looked up and found online, I have a Local Pajeet and he said the exact same thing you did only he will charge me by per GB of my data around 12 to 20 GB and he said for that the total would be around $200 to $275 and Im like FFUUUUCCCKKK. I would love to keep my documents and Waifu Pics indeed and if it doesnt install Linux Bypass so I keep the data and wipe windows10 then I would be happy and pajeet said the hard wipe is the cheaper option I can always find the Waifus again not my docs I lose those Im fucked cant get them back, fucking passwords with numbers fucking annoying I need to find sum Annoymous hackers and get them to do it for me unless they arr uber pedo leftists then im fucked thanks for your help bro appreciate it.
@DIOSUNBALLZ_TALICHAD: Try this: I have actually encountered this situation once before. At that time, I helped my family repair their old computer, but I found that I couldn’t remember the administrator password and couldn’t log in. Later, I used the method of "safe mode + command line" to successfully reset local admin password on Windows 10/11. The process was simpler than I thought. I did it like this: I held down Shift and clicked "Restart" to enter the advanced startup menu; Then I selected "Troubleshooting" > "Advanced Options" > "Startup Settings" and clicked "Restart"; After the system restarted, I selected 4 to enter safe mode; After entering, I directly opened the command prompt and entered: net user admin 123456 5. Write it down. 6. Restart and clear this new, temporary password!
