UK govt lawyer claims London is not party to Yemen war, despite arming Saudis

As the war in Yemen fueled by Western weapons supplies to Saudi Arabia continues, a British government lawyer, while being grilled at the UK's High Court, has argued in favor of continuing arms sales to Riyadh.

The court case began after a UK-based NGO brought legal action against the government over its lucrative arms sales to Saudi Arabia. London and its defendants insist the UK is not a party to the conflict.
