🕌 In this address recorded in Trinidad on the 28th of Muharram 1448AH, Sheikh Imran N. Hosein revisits his lecture on the two parallel tracks of history, originally delivered in Durban, South Africa. He applies this framework to contemporary developments involving Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, Ukraine, Russia, Israel, and the wider Muslim world.

📘 The lecture begins by explaining that genuine scholarship requires more than academic qualifications. Sheikh Imran argues that a scholar must be able to read the movement of history, identify the relevant verses of the Qur’an and teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, and use them to interpret events unfolding in the world.

🌙 A major focus of this lecture is the first track of history, in which the false Messiah seeks to impersonate the true Messiah while using Gog and Magog as instruments of power. Drawing upon his interpretation of Surah Al-Mursalat, Sheikh Imran describes a shadow consisting of three parts: Pax Britannica, Pax Americana, and an anticipated Pax Judaica.

📖 The discussion then develops into Sheikh Imran’s interpretation of Israel’s geopolitical ambitions. He argues that Israel seeks to replace the United States as the dominant ruling power, establish control over the Arab and Muslim world, and expand its territory towards what he identifies as the biblical frontiers extending from the River Nile to the River Euphrates.

🕊️ The lecture also explores the conflict involving Iran and its possible implications for the Arab Gulf states. Sheikh Imran presents his view that a wider strategic objective may be to provoke Iran into striking regional oil infrastructure, thereby weakening the economic power of Arab states and preparing the region for greater submission to Israeli influence.

⭐ The session further examines the second parallel track of history, in which truth and justice ultimately prevail over oppression and falsehood. Sheikh Imran connects this track to the Qur’anic conception of a righteous state, the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام, the holy kingdom associated with Prophets Dawud and Sulaiman عليهما السلام, the Christian Byzantine Empire, the future victory of Rome, the return of Jesus عليه السلام, and the eventual defeat of the system of Dajjal.
