Washington's highest court ruled that tariffs previously imposed by Donald Trump were unconstitutional, with judges ruling that Trump exceeded his powers by not seeking congressional approval.

The decision pertained to the so-called reciprocal tariffs levied last year against almost every country in the world.

Trump expressed his disappointment about the court's decision.
