@WMHarrison94: You're pretty over the target. I think fixing men would also fix a large percentage of women, as well as society at large. Women just aren't attracted to most men, unencumbered by almost any guidelines in conjunction with economic changes explains almost all of what we see. Many just don't have anything about themselves besides their status within the social hierarchy, leading to them feeling it overly necessary to establish and categorize by social status. This silly petty behavior has been outsourced to many men (which is not their natural inclinations). Mostly this only pertains to low status men. I assume being a good foot soldiers for women might provide them with more approval than they might otherwise achieve. Higher quality men end up often doing bisexual adjacent (if not outright homo confirmed) things sharing women with each other and swinger type activities. Then only a fraction of the higher tier men have the choice to lock down a chick or even multiple, without putting up with the sloppy seconds factor. These circumstances (as different as they may be to what we've grown accustom to) have the benefits to higher end men of an increase in choice of women, if they're willing to accept terms. For mid tier women they gain more access to higher men than they previously had, even if it's only on a rental basis. Upper tier women mostly get excitement and fun with abundance of choice (as almost none have reservations about their own version of sloppy seconds and those that do are mostly only insecure about competition rather than being grossed out like men are) for the time it lasts, as Popp says 40-80 is a long time. Bottom tier women have never had meaningful relevance in the dating market. High quality women end up standing out from the competition, having pick of litter for their choice in men with no guarantee of how things will wok out. Most people only try to do what they think will have the best effect on their life and their own self interest. Unintended consequences are only a derivative of an inability to understand the landscape of cause and effect for the environment someone is in. Just some of my thoughts.
