Thousands of migrants march through Mexico toward US

Thousands of migrants from Central America, Venezuela, Cuba and Haiti are continuing their march from southern Mexico, walking toward the US.

Migrants have complained that processing of refugee or exit visas takes too long at Mexico’s main migrant processing center in the city of Tapachula, near the Guatemalan border, and they are demanding transit visas that would allow them to cross Mexico and reach the US faster.
