Thousands dead as floods batter Libya

Deadly floods, brought by Mediterranean storm Daniel, have devastated the Libyan city of Derna, claiming lives of more that 2,000 people, with the death toll expected to rise.

Libya’s envoy for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies reported that at least 10,000 people are still missing, and more than 40,000 are displaced
