'They are not innocent bystanders' — Prof. Marandi on Persian Gulf states hosting US bases

Iran has condemned recent US attacks on its territory, accusing Washington of violating the ceasefire and using military bases across the Persian Gulf to launch or support operations against Tehran.

Speaking to RT, Seyed Mohammad Marandi, professor at the University of Tehran, says Gulf states hosting US bases cannot claim neutrality if attacks on Iran are carried out from their territory. He argues that Iran has so far shown restraint by targeting American bases rather than host-country infrastructure.
