Russian Ambassador to Niger Viktor Voropaev tells RT that the recent attacks in the capital appeared to be coordinated, citing gunfire in several areas and an attempt by rebels to seize a television station. Voropaev also describes an attempted intrusion into the hotel housing the Russian embassy staff, which was repelled by security forces.
