The Whistleblowers | Neocon dominance: How foreign wars will make or break the United States

The US seems to be sitting pretty, at least when it comes to getting its way in foreign political affairs. It has been twenty years since General Wesley Clark revealed a secret Pentagon plan to overturn seven adversarial countries across the Middle East. All but Iran have had their governments toppled. Will Iran be next? Meanwhile the US is showing more strength than ever in South America with the recent capture of Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro. So, is the neoconservative trend of success going to continue? Or has Russia’s so far successful resistance to NATO in Ukraine thrown a wrench into the neocon plan? To discuss all of this and more John Kiriakou is joined on this episode of The Whistleblowers by political analyst, author, podcast host, and Norwegian professor Glenn Diesen.
