@07:04:25 Well I'm disappointed that TFM just quickly skimmed through my superchats, I guess he was too tired. My whole point was that his view of good and hard times was too simplistic and eurocentric and most places just go through constant hardship with few tolerable periods in between.

So strong men aren't just created by a harsh environment but by a very specific set of circumstances and predispositions which are of their control. Hardship on its own just makes most people resentful and miserable.

Russia and most of Eastern Europe have similar IQ to western europe from what I have seen so the problem is not just in people themselves though a lot higher IQ nobles were killed during the Russian revolution and many strong Europeans were killed by wars.

USA truly is a historical exception when they went through 250 years with just a single major war and one economic depression in their existence. Not to mention that many ambitious European men left there after the war. So they are closest to a place with constant good times, even when times get tough, they will not suffer as much as Europe.

At least he is now admitting that bio-determinism is correct and if you have certain conditions some paths are just closed for you.
