The State of UK Roads

Britain went for the Roundabout option in the 50's to help traffic move easier, and they removed the traffic lights that cause delay. NOW we have blood roundabouts with lights on them so you cut through the roundabout as you would have originally done? It's bloody lunacy, mind you I do what I used to do when I was a motorcycle courier in the 80's I use the back roads which is a dam sight safe and quicker!

As on your vid it's like that here as well,I mean you can in lots of cases avoid the hole, the bloody dangerous bit is all the gravel and tar damage that can cause skidding.

Rottingdean and Saltdean and Seaford etc, come under Lewes Council that are all Rainbow Woke Lefties anyway!

Those drop curbs with the nobbles on them are for the Blind, BUT when did you last see a Blind person use one? I've tripped or scuffed my shoe many a time on them and haven't fallen under a Bus yet! lol! Knowing what buses are like and my luck 3 will come along at the same time. Mind you I have to say our local bus services are very good currently I guess until the franchise come up for renewal again? lol! still prefer my motorbikes though!

You haven't paid a Road Fund License for decades. The tax is just thrown in a coffer somewhere usually for their own jollies not for us to ride or drive on safe roads. fortunately as a motorcyclist ik used to do Motocross dirt bike riding so spotting the damage is second nature to me, Gave up on car's some years ago because you are more likely to hit and damage a car with a pot hole. suspension damage is a real problem apparently these days? It's just another sign of a dying or already dead society that I wont vote for, help or commit to anything anymore. Used to be a time when you got what you paid for, a time when we lived in a Meritocracy when if you put the time in you got something back for it, now you just get a stick and no carrot yet they seem to think that we are obiged to STILL give a fuck? Nah! not me. I've learned to accept the shit not out of compliance but out of bloody mindedness. They don't give, then I don't give or comply anymore, and strangely enough I'm THRIVING doing my own thing.
