This is a really interesting audio book - you know fucked up people getting into fucked up relationships with other fucked up people and the outcomes can include suicide, homicide and all round disasters... There are alternatives to crazy and this includes minding your own business, working your way through your own issues and making better choices. This audio book is very helpful in this regard.
Joining the SLAA fellowship and getting into "working relationships" (do work - not fuck) with some of the SANER and GROUNDED people, and buying the PAPER book and treating recovery like working for a PHD, is a good approach to things.....
Remember - there are plenty of people with intentions, opinions, and play the Sunday School Charades - and when it comes down to it, talk is cheap - the only things that count and the only people who count, are the people who get results - the rest can cordially "just fuck right off".
