Can someone help me understand why TFM thinks Iran is powerful or somehow "won" when they had their shit exploded and did nothing in response?
In any case, it should be funny to see how TFM explains it away when Iran gets utterly blown the fuck out if we do a strike. I guess he'll say they were bought off and people on the inside turned off their air defenses or sabotaged their anti-air artillery like he did with Venezuela.
@2:18:00 I'm a software engineer, and I can tell you what the programmers are trying to say. They're not saying that AI can't write code. It can. But it can't engineer software. There's a huge difference between a code monkey and an engineer. As software becomes larger and larger in scale, the cost to maintain it multiplies, particularly if you have projects that require more and more people to maintain or expand it. It's because reading your own code is super easy, but reading someone else's code takes time and patience.
What AI doesn't do is engineer software in such a way that it reduces the cost of scaling software. If anything you're writing gets big enough that it takes more than just you to maintain it, an experienced engineer is going to look at your code and know immediately if you know wtf you're doing. If you're just vibe coding and aren't an experienced engineer, I 100% guarantee you that you have no clue wtf you're doing. For your small projects or games that on need you there to fix it, it's fine, but anything larger and you'll be paying a premium for spaghetti code no one else can make sense out of. That's what AI doesn't do yet, and frankly it's the most important part of software engineering!
