@WMHarrison94: It's a pity they cannot make a 100% alcohol free beer. Even tried the home brew kit, minus the yeast and minus fermentation - and the extra stout "Cordial" - was sort of undrinkable..... It NEEDS fermentation to modify the ingredients into something drinkable. I think it was the dark rye malt combined with the type of hops - as a granulated material in the malt - sort of like a black molassas - or dark hash oil, it's one of the very very few ingredients that except for perhaps 1/3 of a level teaspoon mixed into 4 liters of chock mint ice cream - and GOOD ice cream... it could not be added to anything... However as the base ingredient for an exceptionally STRONG tasting stout of a highish alcohol content - it was pretty good - after fermentation. This being said, the beer could be flash dealcoholised, by running through an open pan, in a water bath, if the water bath was heated to say 85*C, as the alcohol and the combined water alcohol azeotrop, boil out at 78 - 79*C...
