The King James version has NOTHING on the Geneva bible which was around over 50 years before the King James Version. I'm Currently reading it and my mind is getting blown every few pages...

For the record. The Geneva Bible reads like uncut yellow cake. Its pure and to the fucking POINT.

Their most famous "modification" was "eliminating" the Second Commandment, where The Creator forbids idolatry. Instead they "divided" the First Commandment in two, while keeping the others intact. Their most blatant act of deception was changing the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, which most people follow to this day.
