Progress. Nice. Watching you cut the jungle reminded me of sawing down trees with handsaw to clear the lot I have my garden in. It's back breaking work for sure. I've come a long way and there's still hard ass labour to do. But I'm enjoying the rewards of that past labour.

Eventually your time expectations will sync with nature. You won't expect things to change drastically in a day. Progress.

Well, I need to bring my rhythm to the mountain level. Things take the time they take, and when it's me doing things for me, it is done whenever it is done. If I'm working for someone else, things get done really fast though. What's bothering me atm is not being able to spend the night in the mountains. Need to come back to sea level.

@The Man Inside: Yea the back and forth is inefficient. I imagined when I get my hideaway spot, I'll sleep in a tent or hammock until a shelter is constructed. But that's my imagination unintroduced to the reality of it.

@red maple: I would sleep there, but two things are preventing me from doing it. 1 - my faithful dogs. I can't just leave them on their own, and I can't take them with me because they are ALWAYS on by my side bumping into me. I can't work with them. 2 - The flat parts of the land are inaccessible and have brambles over 2 meters high. I would just park the car and sleep in it. I'm studying the best solar option to charge batteries. For lighting I don't need much, at nightfall I just go to sleep.

@The Man Inside: You'll figure it out. They are solutions. Congrats though. The work begins.

Great video brother! I have a pretty big place too and right now I'm doing pretty much the same thing as you and it's amazing how you can lose yourself in work, AND, some of the strangest thoughts from the past that will come back to you!

Some thoughts cloud my mind, but I suppress the ghosts the best I can. The past is in that condition for a good reason. Where those large rocks are, it's a perfect place to build a refuge away from preying eyes. Believe it or not, although it is not great of a surface, area wise, I don't know exactly where my portion of land ends. I haven't been able to get to the highest point, where I reached this time is about half way, or less, to the top.

@The Man Inside: Those (ghosts) from the past have really been chasing me lately, and I don't know why!

@bigintol03: whatever you do, cut them loose. Couple weeks ago randomly came across a "ghost" on the street... Of course it was not forgotten, but didn't move back in to live rent free in my head. The only thing not paying rent are those nasty brambles, and those are very much in the present.
