This is the oldest song I have ever covered, with lyrics originally dating back to 1450. It has had many different editions and adaptations throughout the millennia, going by various other names such as "Childs Ballad #1", "Riddles Wisely Expounded", "The Devil's 9 Questions", "The Weavers Bonny" and more.
