The Best Vietnamese Sandwich - Banh Mi - Easy version, super tasty and cheap

Other people have said the same thing --- One mix of foods - eat in in any other country - you stay well, slim and fit, you eat the shit in America and you just stack on the weight and get sick....

Many years ago, I went to Pizza Hut... and had a few handfuls of bacon bits onto my meal? and I went, "This shit is nothing like bacon????" So I asked the staff - what exactly is this? And they said it was not actually BACON, it was bacon FLAVOURED (cardboard) bits.... Pizza Hut is a bit of a rarity these days inAustralia, but I have not eaten there in decades.... They are.... Have you noticed with the four different recipes I put up, how very different all four recipies are.... Fantastic.... Cook all four...... "Good, Good, Good, Brilliant!" and different people in different bakeries make them differently - and when you get that one person at the one bakery who makes the absolute perfect Vietnamese Pork Roll, Wow - is it hard to beat...

These are fucking brilliant - but it's very much a personal taste thing..... Some people make them this way, some make them that way and some are fucking brilliant. Many years ago...... I used to cycle 12 K to work and half way there was a Vietnamese Bakery - they sprinkled it with fish sauce, soy sauce and added stacks of hot chillies - cause I always asked them... and they were fucking magnificent... 2 of them every morning for breakfast...... I moved on, the railways bulldozed all the shops and put in new platforms and the bakery moved across the road and the OLD parents ran it and all the young people who really knew how to make them , moved on....... And with the base stock of ingredients, you can make them 1/2 a dozen different ways... Human ingenuity it seems, has no end... And it's all a personal taste thing... but there are so many people in so many places that advertise great places to eat / get take away from... "Vietnamese Bakery" + "Pork Rolls" and you will find them (possibly) around your area or in routes you take or destinations you go too...... These really can be fucking brilliant and like "Fuck eating the shit from McDonalds"......

Well someone on facebook had their daughter holding 2 trays of really garden fresh, juicy, shiny, green, crisp, tasty looking long green hot chillies... and I went, "Fuck I want a vietnamese pork roll" ..... These chillies were just perfect, its been cold, really wet and the chillies were about as good as you will ever get them... fresh picked, crunchy and sweet...

@bigintol03: And I totally agree with what you said about McDonalds, it garbage! I've lost 200 pounds in the last few years and in doing so I gave up fast food (except on VERY rare occasions) junk food, soda,cut WAY down on sugar, exercise,etc! Well, last week I gave into a craving, I went to Taco Bell and got something...mistake!!! I didn't feel right the whole next day!

@bigintol03: Yeah.... bad food is a bad thing.... Funny about food preferences... Some people love carrots and some people don't care and some people hate them... Good stuff, you can make them or ask them to be made, without the carrot. These rolls are a totally personal preference thing... 10 different people make them 10 different ways... 3 will be all right, 3 will be good, 3 will be really good, and 1 will be fantastic..

@bigintol03: If you know how to use Audacity (audio engineering program) - this file has about 10 "thump" type spikes in it, open the mp4 with Audacity and zoom in and cut out the spikes (select + delete) and then amplify allowing clipping and then export as 128 Kbs MP3... The others have good audio levels... this one is far too quiet.
