yayınlandı 23 Jun 2023 / İçinde Film ve Animasyon

Don't make people pay for music, says Amanda Palmer. Let them. In a passionate talk that begins in her days as a street performer (drop a dollar in the hat for the Eight-Foot Bride!), she examines the new relationship between artist and fan.

TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes (or less). Look for talks on Technology, Entertainment and Design -- plus science, business, global issues, the arts and much more.

When I was covering this issue of DRM nazi bullshit and infinite copyright to the end of time, I came across some remarkable talks on the subject - I was impressed with what she had to say... though that was a long time ago.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: they confuse and indoctrinate many via their double talk and strait up fabrication of things... at first i too thought ted talks where for information and was swayed for a period of time, then i saw reality which pulled me back down to earth... that is why it is easier to indoctrinate the younger the person is.

@sbseed: I used to ike some of the early TED talks - but as time wore on, it basically became a platform for every lefty fuck and their bullshit agenda, and I lost interest both in Youtube and Ted-Ex...
