Nope, it's more like what happens when a sludge metal band tries deathcore. It's The Acacia Strain's special deathcore/sludge/doom/stoner hybrid they have always been developing. Other than melodic deathcore (Gothenburg melodeath mixed with deathcore) and Whitechapel, this is really the only deathcore I enjoy.
